Classic London employs a full-time health, safety and sustainability manager, who is dedicated to ensuring projects adhere to a high level of health and safety. A risk assessment is carried out on each and every job as a matter of course. Each and every window cleaner, whether it be an abseiler or not, has to be fully medically fit.

In March 2023 Classic London offset its carbon footprint to become a certified Carbon Neutral Business.Through the Carbon Neutral Britain Climate Fund, Classic London has offset its total carbon emissions through United Nations certified carbon offsetting projects.In order to achieve a 50% reduction in emissions by 2030. Classic London will reduce its emissions by 42.025t CO2 over the next seven years.
Water wastage conscious
We measure our water using a calibrated meter against KPIs. Our team invest in water-efficient equipment, and we have a recycling and reuse policy where possible.The team prioritizes water efficiency by investing in equipment that minimizes water usage. This proactive approach aims to reduce water wastage and optimize resource utilization.
Re-purpose, re-use and recycle
When we know better, we do better
- Our used and damaged abseiling ropes and PPE are sent via a carbon-neutral courier to be re-purposed into belts, dog leads, bags, key rings, rugs and much more.
- We have eliminated single-use plastics
- We have eliminated procurement of all synthetic clothing
- We reduce our waste year-on-year
